Since it was released, the Ryzen 5 5600X has been a fan favorite in the mid-range market. It offers strong gaming performance and at the same time delivers strong single- and multi-threaded performance. It’s fairly easy to cool and offers power efficiency that makes it also energy efficient. The Ryzen 5 5600X can be overclocked easily using its XFR2 feature, resulting in an overall higher boost clock frequency.
As far as specs go, this Ryzen 5 5600X CPU features 6 cores with 12 threads, more than enough to handle almost every game as well as provide a good productivity performance. Also, the L3 cache available (32MB) is more than enough to cover our usual workflow. Furthermore, this Ryzen 5 5600X CPU is compatible with 400/500 series motherboards making it a possibility to pair this processor with the X570 motherboard we choose for this build. It’s no wonder why this Ryzen 5 5600X CPU is so popular among gamers and PC builders.
Now, let’s take a look at the parts that go on this Ryzen 5 5600X PC build. The majority of the components and peripherals we choose are from ASUS’s TUF Gaming parts line. So, you’ll expect a stylish look while being durable enough to handle both a productive workstation and an entertaining gaming system.

The Graphics card we will be using for this build is the ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. The first reason why we picked this graphics card is because of its high-end/budget build which means it can be both affordable (assuming you’ll get this card for SMRP or slightly above that) and maintain great performance to be able to play the latest games.
The Tensor Cores in the RTX 3060 Ti are what sets it apart from other graphics cards. With the 3rd generation of Tensor cores, you’ll be able to get up to 2X faster throughput with structural sparsity and sophisticated AI algorithms. This will provide a significant performance boost in-game, as well as entirely new AI capabilities. In addition, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti has 2nd Generation RT Cores providing better ray-tracing performance compared to the previous generation.
The Boost clock on the ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is set at 1785 MHz in OC mode and 1755 MHz in Gaming mode. This will allow for a better gaming experience and higher FPS when playing your favorite games. In addition, this card is built from the ground up for a more secure and longer-lasting experience, especially when it comes to intense gaming sessions – featuring a robust cooling system, which both protects it against damage and ensures that it can run at peak performance.
From performance to aesthetics, this graphics card really has it all and it just fits this TUF Gaming-inspired Ryzen 5 5600X PC build.
For the motherboard, I picked the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PRO WiFI to compliment this PC build. This motherboard uses the AMD X570 Chipset, so it supports any Ryzen 5000 series processor out-of-the-box including the Ryzen 5 5600X. It comes with a TUF Gaming design as well as Aura Sync RGB lighting, which gives this PC a more gamer look and feel, with options for customizing the colors and effects.
Compared to other X570 boards I have used in the past; I really like the power design of this TUF Gaming X570-PRO. It has 12+2 DrMOS power stages, which is enough to provide reliable power for the multicore Ryzen 5 5600X. The VRM is fanless, so it runs cooler and quieter. The active chipset heatsink also helps to keep everything running cool. There is also a UEFI Q-Fan Control utility, so you can easily set up different profiles for customizing your cooling needs.
In terms of gaming features, this board comes with a WiFi 6 (802.11ax) for a fast wireless connection. There is also a 2.5 Gb LAN port for a fast wired connection in case WiFi isn’t giving you satisfaction. The audio feature on this motherboard is also good, it uses a Realtek S1200A codec with DTS Sound Unbound, which provides high-fidelity audio for an immersive gaming experience. The TUF Gaming X570-PRO also has an AI Noise Cancelling Mic technology, which helps you communicate clearly with your fellow gamers. So, overall, it is a good motherboard to have for this Ryzen 5 5600X PC build.
The RAM we choose to pair with the Ryzen 5 5600X is the T-Force Delta DDR4 memory kit. The design of the heat spreader is unique for this specific set, and we like it: it’s a military camo pattern that references TUF GAMING ALLIANCE.
The T-Force Delta kit we have here is a 16GB (2x8GB) set rated at 3200MHz with a CL16 latency. This means they are XMP 2.0 ready and can be overclocked in one click when you need to. ASUS AURA SYNC compatibility is also included (software that controls the RGB lighting on AURA compatible components).
T-Force Delta DDR4s are very popular in gaming PC builds, and there are many reasons for this. Not only do they look great – the thermal performance of these specific memory modules is incredible. It’s just a perfect RAM for this PC build.
The Ryzen 5 5600X comes with a stock cooler, however, for overclocking and improving temps, it won’t give you decent performance. So, we will be using an aftermarket cooler for this build, and since e want to maximize the TUF components that go on this build, the ASUS TUF Gaming LC 240 RGB is our great choice. It provides both excellent cooling and aesthetics that matched this Ryzen 5 5600X PC build.
The ASUS TUF Gaming LC 240 RGB is a great choice for an aftermarket CPU cooler. It has a radiator fan with a fan blade groove design that helps to optimize airflow and reduce fan noise. The NCVM-coating pump cover also looks great and gives your build a rugged, modern look. It’s styled to match the TUF Gaming motherboards, so it will look great at the center stage of your build. The reinforced, sleeved tubing also makes it more durable.
The included fans are also RGB. They’re PWM controlled, so you can adjust the speed to find the perfect balance of performance and acoustics for your needs. Each fan can output a max airflow of 67 cubic feet per minute, generating 3.0 mmH2O of static pressure. They’re not too noisy, with a 29dB(A) sound level. The ASUS TUF Gaming LC 240 RGB is a great choice for an aftermarket CPU cooler and is sure to keep the Ryzen 5 5600X running cool and looking good.
This NVME SSD comes in many different sizes, however, for this build, we’ll be using the 1TB version for the main storage drive as it is enough for the majority of users.
The storage on this drive is very fast, with the sequential read/write speeds hitting 2,100/1,700MB/s. This will be more than enough for most users and should provide a good overall experience when it comes to loading games or applications.
The ultra-thin structure of the T-FORCE CARDEA ZERO Z330 is one of its main selling points. With a thickness of less than 1mm, it can easily be installed in gaming laptops or high-performance PCs that have limited installation space. So, for this PC build, it will work just fine. Another advantage is the graphene copper foil cooling module. It helps to dissipate heat quickly and efficiently, which can help to improve the lifespan of the SSD and your PC as a whole.
Choosing storage capacity is completely a personal choice. If you play a lot of games or store a bunch of files, you should invest in a large storage drive.
The Samsung 870 QVO comes in different sizes to choose from. This includes 1, 2, 4, and 8TB models.
This SSD provides an impressive sequential read speed of 560 MB/s and a sequential write speed of 530MB/s. This drive has a considerable boost in these two categories when compared to the 850 EVO’s max sequential speeds of 540 MB/s and 520 MB/s respectively. This is key if you want fast storage for your PC build. It also has enhanced random access speeds and sustained performance, which is significant if you want to do a lot of multitasking or need rapid game load times.
Overall, it is a great additional storage drive for this Ryzen 5 5600X PC build.
The EVGA Supernova 750 GT provides good quality power and has enough wattage to support the rest of this build.
The EVGA Supernova 750 GT is an 80 Plus gold-certified power supply. This means that it has been tested and proven to be more than 80% efficient at all loads. It also features a fully modular design, which allows you to use only the cables that you need, making cable management much easier and looking much cleaner.
The included 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan provides ultra-quiet operation and an increased lifespan. The fan is also auto eco mode enabled, which means that it will adjust its speed according to the load to keep noise levels as low as possible. Additionally, the Supernova 750 GT includes a power-on self-tester, which allows you to easily test the PSU for faults.
The EVGA Supernova 750 GT is aesthetically pleasing with its gray exterior and blue LED fan. Also, you will be able to fit this into virtually any mid-size ATX case design because of how compact it is. For a power supply, it is an excellent choice.
For the chassis, this ASUS TUF Gaming GT501 will definitely work well with this build. It complements our TUF Gaming theme, provides good airflow for the rest of the system, and is large enough to house all the components that go on this PC build.
The chassis comes with three pre-installed 120mm RGB fans, and one 140mm non-RGB fan for the back exhaust. The RGB fans are also compatible with ASUS’ Aura Sync technology, which means you can control all of the RGB lighting on this build with a single application. The side panel comes with tempered glass windows allowing us to showcase the entire build. It is made of fully metallic material with a brushed-metal finish on the front bezel. There is also a carrying handlebar at the top that makes it very easy to carry this chassis around, especially thanks to its sturdy frame.
One of the main features that I really like about this chassis is the fact that it is ready for custom liquid cooling. You can install a top-mounted up to 360mm radiator, so the TUF Gaming LC 240 RGB Liquid cooler we use on this build is highly-compatible.
The overall build quality of the chassis is impressive and I personally love how this chassis looks aesthetically wise too. It works well with this Ryzen 5 5600X PC build.

It comes with a 6200 DPI optical sensor, which is designed for precision movement and aiming, making it the perfect choice for gamers who want the best performance possible.
The Omron switches are rated for 50-million-clicks, meaning that they will last for a very long time. The Omron switches also feature a push-fit socket design, which makes it easy to swap them out if they ever wear out. This ensures that you will be able to use your mouse for a very long time without having to worry about the switches wearing out.
The Asus TUF Gaming M5 also features Aura Sync RGB lighting allowing you to be able to choose from nearly endless colors and effects to personalize your mouse. You can also synchronize the effects across an ever-expanding ecosystem of Aura Sync-enabled products. This means that you can have the same look and feel for all the TUF components and peripherals on this build.
All these features make the TUF Gaming M5 a well-rounded mouse for both gamers and professionals alike.
ASUS TUF Gaming K3 is in our opinion one of the best mechanical keyboards for under $100. It’s made of durable and high-quality materials and is overall well-made. The combination of customizable brown, blue, or red switches (the choice depends on the user) provides a perfect click for each keypress, providing excellent tactile feedback. The sleek design doesn’t reveal any unnecessary lighting; instead, enough brightness to make it visible in dark environments.
The N-Key rollover feature means that every keypress is registered, no matter how many keys are being pressed at the same time. This is an excellent feature for gaming as it ensures that no keypresses are missed. The keyboard also has onboard memory, which saves all your macro settings and preferences even if you switch computers. Finally, the 8 programmable keys can be used to configure any in-game shortcuts you need.
This keyboard also comes with a detachable wristrest and I feel like it is a great addition to the keyboard. It’s made of the same durable and high-quality materials as the keyboard and attaches magnetically. The wrist-rest is contoured to fit comfortably against your wrists and provides excellent support.
The ASUS TUF Gaming K3 also has RGB lighting, which can be customized using the Armoury Crate software. The lighting can be configured to match the colors of your system, or you can create your own unique lighting effects. The software is easy to use and provides a lot of flexibility when it comes to customizing your keyboard’s lighting.
Overall, the ASUS TUF Gaming K3 mechanical keyboard is an excellent choice. It surely works well with this TUF Gaming-inspired Ryzen 5 5600X PC build.
